Your Team Fights
Like They've
Trained Here
Indiana's premier fire service training facility. Real-world scenarios, certified instructors, and hands-on experience that builds confidence before the alarm sounds.
Built by Firefighters.
For Firefighters.
Indiana Firefighter Training Center was founded on a simple principle: the best training happens where the stakes feel real. Located in Terre Haute, our facility gives fire departments across the region access to live-fire structures, technical rescue towers, and scenario-based drills that mirror the challenges your crews face on the job.
Whether you're preparing new recruits for their first shift or sharpening the skills of veteran officers, our curriculum is designed to close the gap between the classroom and the street. Every drill, every burn tower session, and every rescue simulation is led by active and retired fire service professionals who know what happens when the alarm drops.

Schedule a TourActive & Retired Fire Service Instructors
Every instructor brings years of frontline experience. They don't just teach the manual — they teach what the manual can't capture about reading a building, managing a crew, and staying safe when conditions change in seconds.

Our programs meet or exceed NFPA standard requirements, but we go beyond compliance. Every course is designed to build muscle memory and decision-making skills that carry through to the fireground.
